What you will be doing:
As a Planner/Buyer, you will be in charge of planning and preparing the production process and buying resources and raw materials for an optimal and efficient production process. Your main task is promptly filling customer orders and stock orders, making efficient use of production capacity and using resources effectively. To do so, you keep a sharp eye on making timely purchases and on the flow of raw materials and production in the MRP system and you compile the schedule.
You are part of the business office; the heart of the organisation where all operational lines come together. You will work closely with the production manager on the progress of production. You will be in contact with suppliers about deliveries and conditions.
You will report directly to the head of the business office.
Your work environment:
We are growing rapidly. We expect you to actively contribute to the further professionalisation of Vaessen-Schoemaker. In addition to the standard duties, we highly appreciate a proactive attitude: you present and implement initiatives for improvement, but also participate in various projects.
You have a higher professional education work and intellectual level, relevant education and demonstrable experience in a similar position. You are prepared to work at least 30 hours a week, preferably on 5 days. You are fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written. Being a sporty type, with ping-pong skills or a love of playing cards would make you the perfect match.
